The evening will end with a fireworks show beginning at 8:30 p.m. Lake Compounce invites kids to participate in a juice box toast, bubble dance party, crafts and more. Lake Compounce’s first-ever craft fair will showcase a wide range of makers such as candles, soap, baked goods and more.

New for 2022 is happening at the historic Starlight Theater for Once Upon a Christmas, an award-winning show coming to Lake Compounce for the first time. The party continues once the park opens, with more than half a million twinkling lights decking the halls around family favorite rides and attractions. Attendees must gather at the exit to Crocodile Cove Water Park at 7 p.m. The park is on a mission to break the single-location sweater record of 3,473. On opening night, Lake Compounce will be hosting the World’s Largest Ugly Sweater Party.
